Sweet Candy Distro opened up in the spring of 2004 with a mission to provide people with fun and unique handmade items plus lots of enjoyable zines. We have grown tremendously since opening day and in 2006 we expanded and formed a zine library + alternative arts center in South Philadelphia. After having a successful year in Philly and being voted "Punkest Zine Library" in Philadelphia for 2006. Now Sage is back in Georgia and has opened Sweet Candy's physical store. It is definitely a huge project but it is so awesome. Our online catalog will still be available so no worries about that.
Sage, who runs the distro, writes the zines Tattooed Memoirs, Hard Knox, Marked For Life and is editor of the compilation zine Eye Candy. She is also on staff at CROQ zine. You'll find Sweet Candy Distro tabling at events, sponsoring great things and continuing to add excitement to the zine and diy community. We thank you for your continued support.
